Propeller Flax

In order to know exactly what we are making art with, we should make it ourselves... this idea gave rise to the project of the self-sufficient artist, with the self-sufficient garden for artists.

The current installation represents the recurring cycle of flax/linen from seed, plant, fibre, spinning, weaving with all the sub-steps to the finished piece of linen, in its complexity and the inherent magic (Exhibited: Reikersdorf, Lower Austria 2024/ St. Pöltern, Lower Austria 2023).
