Blobbs

The series' themes are transformation and capturing moments while simultaneously transcending time and space. Questions about surface or space or their negative counterparts in the surrounding “white” are not answered, nor are questions about the “freeze” of a movement or the expansion or shrinkage of color, liquid or smoke, questions about up or down. The drawings reflect infinite diversity while at the same time reducing them to the essentials and thus combine one of Angela Olbrich's artistic themes of the simultaneity of searching and finding.
