Text Images (German)

According to Paul Klee, art does not reproduce what is visible but rather makes it visible. The main focus of Angela Olbrich's artistic work is to give form, space and color to abstract concepts. Terms and topics with a philosophical, holistic touch, in complexly processed colors that create new image levels and image spaces, through to printing techniques such as linocut or monotypes, cyanotype as well as connecting mixed techniques. Additional poems or parts of text appear again and again in which newly put together words, new textual textures, new textual spaces, textueal images are created with the intention of transforming the untranslatable into concepts and also making them more linguistically understandable.
